About
Lina Khalil is a Berlin-based multidisciplinary designer weaving craft, AI, technology, and imagination into wearable and digital stories.

Biography
Based in Berlin, Lina Khalil works at the intersection of fashion, digital craftsmanship, and experimental textiles. Her practice moves between physical garment-making and virtual prototyping, treating each discipline as a conversation rather than a boundary.
With a background in costume and textile design, she brings a material sensitivity to digital tools — and a technological curiosity to traditional craft. Whether building a character garment, simulating fabric in 3D, or training generative workflows around a specific visual language, the goal is the same: to make work that feels both considered and alive.
Her studio serves clients and collaborators across theatre, film, editorial, and digital fashion — always starting from research, silhouette, and story.
Approach
Four overlapping fields that shape the studio's work — each one informing the others.
Costume Design
Building garments for character and movement — from silhouette studies and draping to finished construction for stage, screen, and editorial.
3D Design
Virtual garment construction, material simulation, and sculptural form-finding in CLO 3D and Blender. A digital-first way to test ideas before fabric is cut.
AI & Creative Workflows
Generative tools used as part of the design process — moodboards, prints, and rapid iteration — always guided by hand, taste, and intention.
Experimental Textiles
Slow, hand-led surface work: dyeing, stitching, and layering cloth to create texture, memory, and material narrative.
